Agreed. Just one of those knuckleheads and I would be broke and happy.

I was hoping there were some vespas or lammies in the auction because he mentioned multiple times on that show that he was into them. Once or twice actually picked one up on an episode. But I guess he either decided to keep those, or already flipped them. Also find it a really strange time to be offloading this collection, in the midst of a tough time financially for many people. Seems he missed the boat by about a year, or should have waited another year or two.

broke and happy is basically my mantra.

word on the wire is that mike isn't the easiest guy to deal with buying, selling or doing work for. but I've only heard that 2nd hand from a few sources that are also not the easiest people to deal with.

I think you hit the nail on the head regarding timing. a little odd to be unloading now but usually the kind of people that are buying this type of stuff are already flush and this is just fun money for them.

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure that WEBSITE was ALREADY in my favourites... But, not it was a slightly different version.

I've bought directly from Mike before and he was pretty straight forward. That said two people before me passed on the same bike not trusting him....

He's just flipping all these that he bought at pickers prices. Be that as it may, I love these first two on the 2nd page: the BMW and the Matchless.
