After 4000 km clutch discs and plates on SIP Cosa 2 Sport clutch said goodbye.
I rebuild clutch with SIP CR80 kit and new brass parts too - here is little video

Changed rear shock bush for SIP one. Seems it must be better than in original size.

My precious. Bought this kit long ago but only now decide to put it in. And I was never suspect how much work it needed.
There was something wrong with cylinder or head. When I measured squish without any gaskets it was 2 mm. So I was need to sand head a lot to get 1.5mm squish with thinnest gasket.

Is the crankshaft 57mm or 60mm stroke.

It is Mazzucchelli 57/105 crankshaft.
To compare with FMP measurements on this video my was PBT 1.3 mm and edge on the head was 0.7 mm.

Cylinder, carb and clutch cover torqued down on places. I also cleaned and greased brake cam.

Such a fine top end deserves a 60mm crank, though!

Can't argue with you. Ports on case also not matched with cylinder. But maybe later when I open cases for big rebuild.

Now engine is in good shape and all what must was changed. On the other side there is only one crankshaft which completely satisfies my desires - don't machine cases and stay with rotary intake. But price of it is really high for me.
So I will look how it goes as it is now and maybe just will matched ports.
I need good reliable touring scooter and even with DR 177 it was good enough for my purposes.

If I want to ruffian on the streets I have 50 Special with VMC GS 125cc for this.

On the few motors I built, and several I've seen hear, you need a 60mm crankshaft if you don't want to have to remove material from some where.

60mm stroke with 110 mm conrod?

But in paper manual, online shops and even avotecnica.com indicated that the stroke is 57mm. Oh those Italians!

60mm with 105 conrod is normal for small blocks.

You can run a 60mm 110 conrod if you want to, but it's typically a P200 crank, so while the main bearings work just fine, it requires longer cylinder studs, a different little end bearing, and a spacer. You can really go crazy on port timings when you do that, though. Really nice, grunty geometry, too.

I have run my super-tuned LML motor like that for close to ten years now and loved it.

Mounted temperature sensor and fitted cylinder cowling. It needed some cutting near exhaust stub.
I was need to buy new cowling because my old original one is in bad condition. Pity, as I liked how it looked.

Take it from sandblasting to my Lambretta-mate for the painting.

There is some disappointment for me - I could not choose the color I wanted. But now I'm still looking forward to it.

I didn't express myself correctly. In my situation, I don't have the option to choose a color. There is only one color in which the scooter will be painted.

Since I decided to abandon the handlebar indicators I also got another gear shift handle - without mounting for switch.

Are those louvers welded on or pressed directly into panel?

Them welded.

I am hoping for late May. We will see. I hope to get everything back from paint in the next 2 weeks.

I'm still waiting for frame from painting. But I get some parts.
I remember that my tank is rusty inside. And decide to clean it with electrolysis.

Today I picked up chassis, handlebar, horn cover and mudguard. Very happy with all and can't wait to start assembling.

Short story is long. As I mentioned before - my mate who paint my P have some problems. So side covers and glove box I will get not earlier than August.

Yeah, but there's nothing you can't do, including ride it, while you wait for those.

Last night was not quiet. I woke up at 3:40 AM due to air alert. Heard few explosions and can't sleept again. So I was wait to 5 AM when the curfew ended and go to the garage to do at least something before I go to work.

I put floor rails(totally nightmare) on one side and centre floor mat, some rubbers and luggage hook(upside down )

I can't think of a worse punishment for being unable to sleep through air raids than installing floor rails. I'm glad you made the most of the lost sleep, though.

Stay strong. The 1993 borders will be restored soon.

I spent lot of hours trying to fix floor rails end caps with pop rivets. No luck. I gave up and put them with M3 stainless screws.

Nuts on the other side looking not very good but it is ok for me.

Today was not easy evening. But I'm very pleased with results.

Done:
· handlebar
· all cables
· gears and throttle tubes
· levers
· etc

Handlebar done but seems like some wire blocks throttle tube. I will look there again on Saturday.

Looks so good, very clean. Black and black wheels with yellow spring is cool.

I've had very similar issues when finishing my PK. New floor rails were a nightmare to fit so I ended up using 1 new one and 3 of the old ones!

Also had trouble with the throttle cable being caught by something, was the brake pedal wiring for me.

Hope all is going as well as it can be where you are.

Lookin good! What are you using for the legshield trim? Push on or crimp on? You are making great progress.
