Hi all,

I've just purchased my first Vespa (project). I'm not sure if this is normal, but by depressing either brake lever the the starter motor will engage, thus making the actual electric starter button redudnant?

Could anyone shed some light on a resolution for this please?

The starter button is seized with closed contacts. It's not the starter relay, if those contacts were short you'd have a dead battery. BTDTGTTS < twice.
