Wasn't all that long ago that the pump read $99 for the same amount.

fortunately, coffee is holding steady.....refills at the UnderDog Caf are still a buck.50

I paid $3.21 a gallon with my Smart Card at Exxon the other day. Better than the $5.15 of a few months ago.

That is 2$/gallon. Or 0.50€/l, extremely cheap wrt European standards.

During 2018 - 2019 the fuel price, diesel, here was stable between 1.3 and 1.4€/l (5.2 - 5.6$/gallon).

Then corona came and the price dropped to 1.1€/l (4.4$/gallon) by mid March 2020.

Since then the price gradually started to increase again upto 1.7€/l (6.9$/gallon) by mid Feb 2022.

Then there was Ukrain and the price sharply increased to 2.1€/l (8.5$/gallon).
Today the price is back at the 1.7€/l level from before the Russian invasion of Ukrain.

Gas is still well over $5/gal here in Reno.

Gas hit about 1.90 per litre ($CDN) here for a bit, its down to a much more reasonable 1.35 per litre for regular.

When I first started riding in the late seventies it was about 0.19/ litre... I'm feeling mighty dated right now... and if you knew where to go it was still loaded with lead too... how I miss that smell.

Premium for the scooters hit 2.25 during covid's darkest days, I can't say that really bothered me as I could still laugh at the 5 series BMW owner at the next pump as he loaded $125 into his tank.

I drive a car that does 40 to 45 miles a gallon. Not my business. Last time I paid $20 for a full tank.

Which is it. A Chevy or a F150

HiloHawaii still over $5/gal. I used to have the Prius and it had horrible gas mileage for the 1 ½ miles that I do because engine never quite warmed up and itz electric mode was limited. My 4 cylinder Chevy Trax gets better mileage for my short trips downtown.
And both the $4,000 battery (twice) and the regular $300 12 volt batteries crapped out. I could only use Toyota to warranty service it here. No one else would fix it. I would buy another hybrid from Toyota but for now it was a learning experience. Gas prices never go down.
