I read the 2 page thread on this. My issue is I replaced leg trim so did something wrong I'm sure. Unfortunately I can't seem to feel the manual release through left hand knee pad opening. I have a 2019 GTS Touring and wondering if schematic is different from the 2012s in original post.

Any suggestions appreciated

It's not difficult but it's tricky. My advice to you and what worked for myself dozens of times is to just keep on trying until you get it.
