So a question. I have a 2012 Vespa 300 Super. I have replaced all of the lights with LED except the headlight. I was planning on doing that but the LED was out of stock. they now have the replacement part although getting it installed requires taking that whole area apart which is a project. So I generally only ride during the day, do people think it is still worth doing? Happy for any advice

I upgraded to LED on my GTS250, and I would say it is more visible to other motorists during the DAY.

I also did the turn signal-to-running light and horn cast light upgrade, and my OCD would never allow for me to have mismatched warm and cool lighting.

You won't have to worry about a bulb breaking, and it gives the Vespa a much more modern look - whilst keeping the battery draw low.

The LED lights are great while riding though, even if it's just low light and not complete darkness.

I'd say definitely go for it.

You'll be noticed a lot quicker during the day (which can prove invaluable) and you'll see a lot more road during the night.

Win-win! Clap emoticon

(And the project may seem daunting at first, but really it's not that hard to disassemble the front of the steering hub. Just find a video where Robot does it and follow along, if you feel challenged.)

So I have a front rack on which I also have to remove to do the LED headlight, I have done this before so it is not too daunting, I am just being lazy, that is what happens when you retire but I will l likely do it. Thanks for the info
