Six months ago, bjmscooter posted about a program called DALL-E, developed by a company called openai, that generates images based on plain text. I thought it rather amazing. He generated this image using the phrase "A vespa made of stone like a sphinx in the desert on the plains of Giza with a pyramid in the background" in about 10-15 seconds.
A few weeks ago openai released a similar program called ChatGPT that generates stories based on plain text. I've been playing with it a bit. I asked ChatGPT to write a story about "A vespa [god] made of stone like a sphinx in the desert on the plains of Giza with a pyramid in the background as [a sonnet]". The words in [...] are words I added to bjmscooter's original text. It generated the following story in ~10 seconds.

With a pyramid rising in the background.
The sun beats down upon the golden sands,
As the vespa god looks out upon the land,

You do need to sign up for an account here. openai has some other tools that are probably interesting as well but I haven't looked at them yet.
