This went well. I grabbed this front mudflap from Scooterwest for my 2022 GTS.
I painted the rivets to match the body color. I reviewed several brands but decided these flaps look and fit nicely.

Wonder why this isn't standard equipment on a metal bellied scooter?
The black color all but disappears.
I applied my Burgman's front fender extender with red 3M body tape. It never loosened after I 'set' it with clamps and some heat. No drilling.

A great practical addition, just be careful when manoeuvring your scooter on or off high kerbsides.

(Prevention is better than cure),

A mud flap is always a good idea as long as it is designed properly. That is, no road material can get trapped at the inside top where it meets the fender and it also remain somewhat flex able. I think the reason is not standard equipment is that it would cut initial profit, whereas if it is sold as an accessory, more money can be made for the dealer.
