Hello everyone,

I haven't been here for a while but I ride daily a 1967 Motovespa with a PX200 engine.

I want to go the tubeless wheels route but due to financial constraints I can only do front or rear at the moment.

If you had to choose, which wheel would it be, front or rear?

Thank you for all your opinions.

Not based on anything but I'd say the rear. You are far more likely to get a puncture in the rear.

I'd either buy a pair of tubeless or none at all. I'd put that money elsewhere on the scooter. I have 3 set of SIP tubeless and i'm not really a huge fan of them on a daily rider...on a track bike, yes. But a big meh for a road going scooter.

Hola Paisano!

Rear. Never a puncture in front in 7 vespas, allways in Madrid area. Many times rear.
/Nunca he pinchado delante en siete vespas, pero muchas veces detrás. Y en sitios malos, como los túneles de la M-30.

Suerte y feliz navidad!

Hola Corradino!!

I finally took the plunge and ordered a Pinasco tubeless rim from the front wheel, I'll do the rear after a couple of paychecks. I have read horrible stories about front wheel punctures, total loss of control at high speeds. It seems that rear punctures are easier to manage from a riding point of view.

I think you are right, the rear wheel is more prone to punctures. I try to avoid the M-30 as much as I can.

Feliz año!!

BTW: I love your profile photo.
