Hi all, I have been a scooter rider for years, but have never owned a Vespa until now. I have wanted one for years, and yesterday my beautiful amazing wife surprised me with a brand new 2022 arancio impulsivo GTS 300 for Christmas! It is my very favorite color and I still cannot believe she found one (thank you ClevelandMoto as well for this!). I am very "old school" and did not want the 2023 sporty version. I like chrome and retro style bikes. Somehow they found me this 2022 when I never dreamed there would be any left.

I am very pleased to join this group, and wish you all a very Happy New Year!

As many have said welcome to MV! It is the best place for all things Vespa and a great group of folks.

Beautiful ride and it will bring you much joy. Many of us ride other bikes but there really is something special about a Vespa and I will always find room in the corral for one.

You certainly do have an amazing spouse and what a wonderful gift. I love my better half with all my heart but she does like to bring up my constantly changing collection of motorbikes.

My wife bought my first US scooter, a Malaguti Ciak 50, for Christmas in 2002, now twenty years ago.

It was and still is the best Christmas present ever for me, changing my life for the better from that day forward.

It looks like you have a good wife too, and your scooter much better than mine was.

Hang onto her and ride the scooter as much as you can and you will have a good life too.

P.S. Noticed your trailer setup. I saw here someone once recommend a piece of duct tape over the open end of the S hooks at the straps. I do the same, good insurance I thought from an unforeseen rough road bounce allowing shocks to compress enough to have the straps spit the S hook.

Congratulations! I did the same thing for my wife on Christmas but I got her the 50. She's never ridden a scooter before so I started her small. She loves it and I'm sure you're gonna love yours.

Lucky You! I really love your color. I am looking for a used yellow Vespa myself. I have regreted selling my yellow 2008 ever since I sold it. Color is very important to me, and it appears to be important to you also. Too bad you do not have it down here in south Florida. What a wonderful way to enter 2023.
