At 17, why not?

You know, I was talking to my wife about when Cricket goes. We know she's on the downhill side. But it's not going to be like Isabelle. It's different with cats, I think. We will listen to Cricket gripe and complain as long as she's with us, and we will love her for it. I will miss her ... she's been family a long time, but I don't think it's going to be the crushing grief of losing the little dog. Just different.
