Just look at those claws!

Annikki on top of her career...

Hm

I think I may have disturbed Fred in a private moment this morning... 😂😂😂

Interesting goggles.

Gram has taken to warm spots more often now that the temps are cooler....or, he possibly likes me, but it's not always easy to tell.

Possibly just the filter used on Instagram... here's an unfiltered one...

Cricket being comfy.

At 17, why not?

You know, I was talking to my wife about when Cricket goes. We know she's on the downhill side. But it's not going to be like Isabelle. It's different with cats, I think. We will listen to Cricket gripe and complain as long as she's with us, and we will love her for it. I will miss her ... she's been family a long time, but I don't think it's going to be the crushing grief of losing the little dog. Just different.

Aw well, you lot started this!
The black one (Skip) now… see why I can't pour the tea!
The other (Kate, sadly no longer here) was definitely an outdoor cat. She loved being out so much.

"This Roman mouse smells strange!"

Yuna waiting for her daily evening tidbit...

A very lazy weekend for Charlie & Fred... 🥰🥰🥰

This is Domino. She's almost 2 and such a character.

In between bouts of "merving out" (doing his best impression of @mervthepet on IG)

Not the whole cat, just the stringy bits that follow me everywhere...

The first image reminds me of a cat we had when I was a youth.

There was a field behind our house that our cat, Mittens, would go hunting in. Usually she'd bring back a shrew. She'd toy with it under the crab apple tree in the back yard - she'd let it go, and it would sit there until it felt safe, and when it moved, she'd pounce on it again Sometimes she'd fling it up in the air to let it go. It would hit the ground and be stunned for a moment, and as soon as it tried to run, she'd pounce on it. Eventually she'd tire of the games and put it out of its misery and eat it, leaving the head for us.

One time she came back from her hunt with a small bird in her mouth. She looked so proud. Then she whipped her head back and forth before flinging it into the air, expecting it to hit the ground, stunned.

The bird, surprised to suddenly be free from her grasp and in the air, simply beat its wings and kept going.

Mittens was so confused and disappointed.

Meet Luna, a five-week-old tortie rescue. We aren't her humans, but she doesn't mind if we share a sleepy pic of her royal cuteness.

Did you only rescue her head?

#Bruno3121 does pull some interesting expressions

This is what i have to contend with while working on the bike

CDS disagrees she's your cat now 🤪🤪

Bayek is hammin while i've been off trying unsuccessfully to harvest an elk or bear.

If you find yourself in an unsafe relationship there are people you can call for help. There's no shame in reaching out.

No, our friend rescued a complete kitten.

Gram, perched on the rail...

Well we *were* watching quali. If i say purrari wil i get sued like Deadmau5?

Enjoying the afternoon sun in late Nov

Little one is attacking / chewing a praying mantis and on the stairs with his dad (dad is fed up with the shenanigans )...

Yuna enjoys a cuddle.

This guy was hanging about my house. We have a lot of bunnies, he looks well fed but not fat. I haven't seen a bunny or bunny poop in a few days. I guess he's a good 25 lbs. I double check when I go around to where I saw him, I do not want to startle him (although Fish and Game said the animal would bolt and jump over the fence and not be aggressive)

You can tell it's 'nutty time', she just stares at you.

Yuna…

Mice will be telling their kids horror stories for generations....

Fred... Just chillin'...
