Thought I would share this photo of some work this evening- something you do not see everyday and possibly never. Original Vespa factory tool to build the 6-spring clutch.

I just ran down a good chunk of the OG service shop tools. Maybe 40%. I suspect I'll never make a complete set, but stoked to make a small dent in the inventory list.

The tool above was not issued to dealers; it most likely came out of one of the original Vespa factories as far as we can tell. The lever is weighted and compresses the clutch base plate. From there you can install the cog, disks, and circlip. Imagine building hundreds of clutches per day.
