This is where I store my Vespa for the winter - it's a heated garage nearby at my dads condo - I dropped it off about 5 days ago. There is a ramp to push bike/luggage carts/anything to get up there but sometime over last few days they have erected scaffolding a few feet behind my bike so I no longer have access to that ramp. I can't just push off the lip without damaging the bottom so I need some sort of little damp just to get over the lip - sidewalk etc. any ideas? I did some research but just want to make sure I get right one - help plz

Push it off the side stand, then pull it backwards. Turn the front wheel to the left and take it off the ledge front wheel first. It should clear just fine.

How about a couple of cement pavers.... IIRC about 10" x 16" or something similar. They'll stay put, and cut your step size in half. You can shift them around as needed.

Can you ask the guys working on the condo if they have a little scrap of plywood you could use for a ramp? I mean, their scaffold is blocking your access.

4" is shorter than your average sidewalk. Your friendly motorcycle and Vespa shop pushes dozens of bikes on to and off of the curb every single day at probably closer to 5"+. Your bike will be fine, just walk it off with the wheel as perpendicular to the edge as possible.

In case you are wondering which part of the Vespa would likely make contact with the edge (if any): when I have gone over a tall curb, it has been the center stand that took the impact. No real damage and something I can live with. A piece of wood or concrete can lessen that drop, as others have pointed out.

Bridjit is a commercial solution. Expensive but stable and inoffensive to property managers etc.
