I'm thinking of upgrading to a Cosa 2 clutch for my stock 1980 P200 but I'm confused about the options available and I don't know which is right for me. I don't race, I don't drive hard, I ride mostly around town (flat) and around the foothills and and my riding style can be described as "Old Man Wimpy". In fact the stock P200 clutch works fine for me... but I just want a new toy.
Scooter Mercato sells their #93405340 Cosa 2 for $283.83 (Out of stock) which I assume is the standard 23 tooth clutch for the P200 and they also sell (Out of stock) their #433548 clutch which they describe as "Later upgrade clutch for P200" $158.79
Scooterwest is selling a "Cosa Style" clutch SKU 4335405 for $189,99. The SKU is remarkably similar to the Scooter Mercato number for their upgraded Cosa so I wonder if it is the same.
Of course, I need something is a straight Plug & Play.
Does anyone have any experience with the two alternate clutches or should I just stick with the standard Cosa 2 for $283.83?. Any other recommendations?
