Hahaha.
Thanks guys.
I just wanna hang out and make stuff now!

Started fabricating a new intake manifold for the scoot (over on my normal channel).
Off to the metal supply store to buy some scrap.

Don't get to excite the wife with that kinda talk too often, right?!

Having scraped my way through putting in a new 3 phase main box (there is little doubt at some point I am going to disappear from this forum due to "mid project mistake"), it was on to the AC to DC 300V controls.
AZ - are you reading this?
Yep. 300V all day, erryday my man.

Well - I am familiar with his methods.
🙂

Been awhile.
Perhaps some have wondered if I was ignoring the forum.
Or perhaps just trapped under something heavy and unable to reach the keyboard.

Alas, I've just been undercover.
Deep, deep, DEEP undercover - and down a rabbit hole wrapped in quagmire.

Decided to tune up my lathe.
Needed the help of my mill, so had to learn the CAD software.
Once lathe was disassembled, figured I should go ahead and paint.
To paint, I needed to sandblast.
To sandblast I had to install/wire the air compressor.
Pointless not to run air to whole shop while at it.
But didn't want to fill new air lines with water.
Sp added a dryer.
Which gave me an idea worthy of experimentation.
All done so I could tune up my lathe...

A bit of the mayhem below.
The shop looks like this x 1000 - with every surface covered

Sample of the effect. Now I just have to paint the other surfaces - once I manage to choose a color... damn colors. Not easy!

Lookin' soooo good. I can't wait to see it all back in one piece.

You're going to have it all back together and ready for me to come up with new ways to defile it by Rides of March, right? Razz emoticon

Babin did a custom metallic version of the Hardinge green but I can't find a picture of it.

https://www.babinmachine.com/index.php?HLVREBUILD

the early vespa 98 pistachio and other widebody metallic green would always look good.
