After disconnecting & re-connecting the battery, all information (miles/trip etc) stayed the same. I assume their is a button battery somewhere (like a laptop has) to retain memory. Has anyone found this button battery & replaced?

My ignition lock moves when I insert the ignition key, so the securing bolts must be coming loose....any advice on the easiest way to get to the locks securing bolts?

Anyone know of a way to get a front wheel off without using a jack?

There is a video that I can't seem to find at the moment, but it involves turning off the tilt lock while the bike is on the center stand. Then sliding a shovel under the tire, and using the handle to lift the tire off the ground - then locking the suspension again while the tire is lifted.

Keep in mind the bike can become unstable with a wheel removed, so be careful.

I use car ramps to remove the front wheels.

Here are the steps.

Drive mp3 up on 1 ramp and engage tilt lock.

Remove wheel while helper holds mp3 handle bars.

Let rotor rest on ramp.

Repeat for other side while disengaging and reengaging tilt lock as needed to keep bike level.

I had the ignition get loose on my 500 and I had to remove all of the front tupperware and enough of the rear tupperware to loosen the leg shield to get a wrench in. A lot of work. I put loctite on the bolts to help keep them secure. I haven't done it to my 2008 250 but I imagine it is similar.
