In a marginally related story, when I was working IT hired a guy to create a directory for US IT workers. This guy turned it into a directory of all US employees, with links to each employees' direct reports and who (s)he reported to. Now the marginally related part. In this directory/web form, he coded color changing for both background and text, as well as darkening everything, every day. All this meant that on occasion, the background and text would be the same color. That user would call IT, and we would suggest refreshing the screen with F5, which would change the respective colors. The user would report that it was fixed, thank you very much.
