The May 2023 Spring Gathering will be in Sylvia, NC starting Thursday evening May 18 and ending Sunday morning May 21. LM15 is making arrangements with a hotel he has stayed in several times with another group. He will post details here so we can make individual reservations. Sylvia is a few miles the other side of Blueridge Parkway from Maggie Valley so we know there is plenty of good riding in area.

We missed having a fall gathering so should have a good turnout. 😀

I have booked 8 rooms downstairs in a row at the Blue Ridge Inn in Sylva, NC.

I spoke with Diana who will probably be the one you speak with. Tell them you are booking with the Scooter Spring Gathering group to get our line of rooms and rates.

All of our rooms should be downstairs in the front by the office and in a line.

Most are two queen beds, with one of two rooms with a king bed (Rm 125 is a king bed). I have booked Rm 127.

Total rate should be $436.56 including tax. The Thursday night rate is $100.00 plus and Friday and Saturday rate is $140.00 plus.

The 7 remaining rooms will be held until Friday 24 March 2023.

I have stayed there twice with my motorcycle touring club and found it is a very relaxed, quite and delightful inn. The owners live on site and they have 35 rooms. It is across the street from the Sylva Police Station and the most noise is trucks. Food and beverages (to include craft brews) are with in walking distance.

Look it up on the internet and I am looking forward to seeing each and everyone there. Book soonest please.

As much as I'd like to come, I doubt I'm going to be able to. We're supposed to be doing a major software release at work on June 1. I don't think I'm going to be able to take a week off as we're ramping up to finish a project I've been working on for over 5 years...
