Hello!

I have the 2010 Mp3 250 which I believe is the only year that the 14 inch rim was used on a 250 with the tire size 140/60/14 on it.

Does anyone know the "dark side size" that will work?

I have seen a few posts with 155/65/14 tire people have used for MP3 400 & 500. But I believe the 400 & 500 have a longer swing arm than the 250 so I don't think the clearance will work with the 250 motor.

Has anyone had any luck and or have a good CT recommendation?

TIA

car tires have been mounted on M/C's since they were invented.

Still today ALOT of folks still mount CT's on M/C's and scooters with no ill effects.

The last scootercannonball I believe there were at least 5 riders who had CT's on their scooters. 1 of those finished in the top 5.

On many scoots the square shape of the tire can cause it to rub through the fender or even directly into the storage bucket. A Suzuki Burgman 650 has this problem when going darkside.

The tire is the only thing between you and the road.

There are other places to nickel and dime.

maybe the owner sized the tire wrong on the Burgman.

Found this while Googling. FYI, Burgman 650 stock rear tire size is 160/60-14

Another thing to consider is that the tire bead is different between a MC tire and car tire

his shocks are shot causing the rubbing, also should have a lower profile tire in the 50 size to better match the height of stock tire size.
