I live in the UK and have a gts250 where I only ride it in the summer so I predominantly go out in dry weather so what's the best between the Michelin power pure or city grip2. Advice please.cheers

They are both very good tyres.

Pirelli Angels are too.

You can't go wrong with any of them.

Both Michelin and Pirelli offer 2 very different scooter tyres.

For the Pirelli, there is the angel (all weather safe tyre), and the diablo devil tyre that's much better in a dry summer, but sacrifices some wet weather performance for this.

If you're in a position to only use the Vespa in nice weather, maybe consider one of the dedicated Summer tyres?

pure power are targeted for sporty riding preferably in dry weather.
city grip are more of a commuter tire for all conditions and will last longer.

pirelli rivals are the diablo and angel respectively.

you probably won't find that great a different between any of the above 4 in most circumstances. Jut the more extreme scenarios such a rain storms when there is water sitting on the road or more confidence when pushing hard in the corners

I personally use the diablo and ride it hard in all conditions but I don't push hard in the rain which I largely avoid. I don't care if it wears out quick or not as confidence and grip when hammering around a hairpin on the side of mountain is what matters more to me.

Getting your tire pressure right is also critical to these comparisons

In the UK I always use the Michelins (Gold Standard > City Grip > City grip 2).

You often don't know when a shower or even a downpour might occur!

Here in CA I still use them as they last longer than the others, and they have enough grip in the constant dry for my riding style - no longer doing track days!

the above people know much more than I do. I live in AZ and I have the City Grip 2 and I have been happy with them. It is usually dry here so cannot comment on them in wet weather. When I researched what tires to get these came up the most, hope this helps
