And remember it's a drum front brake, not disc. You'll have to plan on stopping a couple blocks ahead of time.

Hey friends! This is a nice feed about the Rides of March and other stuff. I am a long time ROM attendee. This rally is def one of my favorites. Unfortunately, my 1966 Vespa Sprint 150 was stolen from my garage in Sacramento the weekend of March 3-5, 2023. It's making the rounds on the Scooter-related Facebook group pages. I'm undecided about attending the Rally at this point, but if anyone sees my boy, please let me know. Here is the CL URL: https://sacramento.craigslist.org/mcy/d/sacramento-stolen-vespa/7600964468.html

Sorry to hear about your scoot katedana.
I'm sure if we see it. - you will get a head's up. Apologies for the delay - we had to go get tacos and beers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But just before we left - this happened. As for that whining - well - let's just say there are a few things rubbing that need attention. Also - yes - that is my shop light serving as a headlight.

So a few final thoughts before I turn in and recharge for another exciting day of blood sacrifices, wheelies, and general questionable decisions...Red tried to bite me when I reached in to remove the carb, but I think we've now reached an understanding and it'll all be good going forward.
The motor and I both made it to California unscathed, despite the best efforts of the Transportation Stealing Administration, who opened up the bag, rifled through it, generally made a mess and also lifted the quart of Motul 710 I'd brought with me. Regardless, the motor is now in the bike and had a successful test ride other than me connecting up the gear shift cables backwards and no electrics. CM2 had a magnetic task light that I used as a headlight for the first ride in a passing thunderstorm. So tomorrow will be electrics, swapping the gear cables, some shakedown riding, and putting faces to names. Definitely should be a good time and a good warmup for ROM to come. And yes, Whodats, I brought a fresh, current, insured license plate with me, which I will almost immediately cover up with blue painter's tape like a good rally attendee. And Katedana, I'm sorry to hear that someone snagged your Sprint. I have a SprintV that's one of my favorites, even if the smallie has been getting most of the love and attention of late. This crew will definitely be on the lookout for it and if it shows up for sale anywhere, someone will definitely recognize it and let you know so you can get the cops rolling on it.
