Trying to start a GTS 300 that has been seating for quite some time. When I turn the key, the display powers up , front and tail light come on, (front a bit weak).
Once I try to start it, it tries to start, and drains the battery.
What could be?

Then the battery is toast. A fully charged battery should be able to turn the starter over at full speed for many, many minutes. If it's struggling straight away the volts have gone way down (shorting cell?) and the ECU will baulk at providing a spark.
