mp3 yourban 300 new ecu

Hi. I have MP3 yourban 300 and i have to change ECU.
But mecanic says, they can program my old keys ( red and black ) to new ECU. so i dont need to buy new lockset.
could you please help me if its true?? thank you

think so. but I'd leave it to the mechanic anyway. it's described in the workshop manual
