Slowpoke what do you mean go bigger?

US model I recommend upsizing the carb jet first.

US model I recommend upsizing the carb jet first. How much more speed would this get me? I have two ET4's they go about 65 stock.

65 to indicated is not a true 65.

yes. the malossi or the polini are both great choices.

there's mention of changing the jetting in the carburetor but I would suggest only increasing the idle jet and not the main. this is also dependent on which carb yours came equipped with, but for the time being, I really wouldn't worry much about it.

I'm a novice at Vespa repair, but I recently adjusted the valves on my ET 4 ( It had just hit 6k miles in November) and also changed the idle jet to a 38. I CAN NOT believe the difference in performance. Much better acceleration and smoother running. Idle is much improved.

I see no additional speed, but I don't care about that anyway.

Everything else is stock except for an Iridium plug.
