probably a gummed up or failed brake switch at the one of the levers.
I'd start by checking there. unfortunately you'll need to remove the headlight housing to have a look see.
One of your brake light switches has stuck on - not unknown if the tiny actuating 'pip' has worn down a bit. Open up the headset, then disconnect each switch in turn to find the culprit. They are very cheap, so having a spare (or better two!) is a Good Idea.
