If it's been sitting for 2 years with ethanol in it, I'd be worried about the fuel pump. Ethanol is extremely corrosive, and an ethanol/gas mixture tends to separate, leaving the heavier ethanol at the bottom, where the fuel pump is. If there is a lot of gas, or what used to be gas in there, I would siphon or pump out as much as possible, then remove the fuel pump and let the rest pour out. I wouldn't try to run the fuel pump with it removed, or in an empty tank, it can ruin the pump. In tank fuel pumps are cooled and lubricated by the fuel. The fuel also puts a load on them when they are running, they can run too fast if not actually pumping fuel. The throttle body/injector could also be plugged up.
Here is a picture of a Goldwing carburetor I left sitting for about one year with ethanol gas in it. The white stuff is aluminum corrosion. The same thing happens to EFI systems when ethanol fuel is left in them for any length of time.
