Modern Vespa

I applied ACF-50 to this scooter in 2017, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 2023.
Seems to be holding corrosion at bay.
I use degreaser to break up the gunk, warm water rinse, dry and apply ACF-50 with a soft brush and rag. Wax-Shop carnauba wax to the body panels.

PS: yeah, the first stop at a traffic light - with that ACF cooking off the muffler is.....heart warming

That's a good idea, applying it with a brush. Why didn't I think of that .

I bought a bottle of ACF 50 a couple of years ago but the spraying mechanism sucks so badly (it just puts out a stream) that I never actually used it. As such, I don't use my GTS or Kawasaki when the roads are salted and I always feel that's a waste of valuable joy.

Next winter, I'll use the brush method!

How much ACF 50 do you use for a job like that....a whole bottle ?

Had that can for years. Used it on 4 scooters and 2 motorcycles.

It's a very sweet smell isn't it? It also makes a scooter waterproof.

I bought a bottle of ACF 50 when my GTS was new, but the video I found about it said you had to clean your motorcycle "within an inch of its life." I didn't feel equipped to do that and ended up never getting around to it, which is silly considering that time was probably still among the cleanest it's ever been. It hadn't had time to be dirty in hard-to-clean places yet!
