I just changed the drive and oil belt when installing Dr pulleys on my LX50 2T.

I poured a tiny bit of 2 stroke oil into the fuel tank so in case I didn't do the oil pump properly.
I checked that the throttle cable activates it, but when I start the engine and get it running I want to remove the oil pump tube from the carb to make sure it's passing oil m, problem is I don't know where it is located and how to remove it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Here is a YouTube video that shows where the oil line is
Don't run the engine with the oil line disconnected without a 50:1 mixture gas/oil in the tank. Running it with 50:1 in the tank and the oil pump working won't hurt anything if you only do it with one tank. It will probably smoke a little, and if done for too long it will foul the plug, but it won't harm the engine.

You could also use an auxiliary fuel tank with 50:1 in it, hang it up somewhere, disconnect the fuel line from the carburetor, and connect the line from the auxiliary fuel tank to the carb, and run the engine on that while checking the oil pump output.

The yellow lines in this picture are half-filled with two-stroke oil.
