The Parts Piaggio website with the diagrams is usually the best place to start a search for where to find a component. Some keywords for "starter" produced some results but "solenoid" didn't produce anything usable.

The starter relay "strter magnetic switch" (sic) is to the right-hand side of the engine, just accessible through the inspection hatch.

BTW Is that the 'hidden fuse' that was mentioned many years ago ?

Also the images appear to be a lot sharper than I recall.

Yes the hidden fuse is with the starter relay, while you're there pull the fuse out and put some dialectic grease on it.
