Hello all.

I have a 2022 Liberty 150 and am attempting to do my own maintenance. I just turned 6000 miles and have a few questions concerning the last three lines of the maintenance schedule. Would someone please help me or point me in the right direction? I need instruction on lubricating:

Front wheel bearing seal ring
Pin-rear drum brake set screw
Transmission

I have searched the forum and web to no avail. (Thanks oldschooot for the valve tutorial, I have used it twice)!

Thank you in advance, ride safe.

front wheel seal ring is the seal on the speedometer drive. I generally do that when changing the tire because everything is all apart, but you could loosen the axle nut just enough to give a spray of lube or wiggle a small brush in with some grease.

pin rear drum is the actuating pin/lever for the rear brakes. usually a I'll do a spray grease here on the cable, lever, pin, and trunnion. anything but WD40 is good, just use sparingly so you don't get it all over the rear tire.

transmission, I'm not sure what they mean by lubrication. perhaps they mean the driven pulley components? or maybe it's a hold over and assumption that the cover bearing is unsealed? at any rate, the driven pulley should be inspected and lubed at the time of transmission service, no need to jump in there just for that.

hth!

By transmission do they mean a belt change? It gets changed at 10,000 km - 6000 miles, right? Or transmission oil?

Order the thumb drive service manual from AF1 Racing. Wealth of information.

But for service:

I did the front hub lips when I did my front tire swap. Was still fine when I did it at around 15,000 miles.

Have no real idea what the rear pin on rear brake is. I did put a light dab of lube on the actuator cam for the brake shoes when removing the rear wheel.

Transmission is most likely the reduction box lube. I use Honda Pro lube and change it every 6000 miles.

I did disassemble the rear torque drive assembly and clean and lube it. Whats weird is it still looked good at 24,000 miles. No leaky seal and the pins slid freely.

I'll be on my next major service at 30,000 miles coming up very soon. Very reliable scooter overall.

Thank you all for the replies. It does help having a better idea of what I am looking for. I will take sc00ter's advice and order the service manual.

Thanks again.
