That is fantastic. Though I didn't think the DKW story was too obscure.

I love 2 strokes. I have a Metralla Mk 2 just to keep the connection.

Excellent Bill Dog. Thanks. My first bike was a 1967 2-stroke Kawasaki 250 Scrambler and I'd guess a descendent of that DKW. I sold it to a guy I worked with who crashed it within a week. I have no idea what happened to him (he never came back to work) or the bike.
