Is a GTS 300 engine from 2011 the same as one from 2018?
Thanks

2018 is Euro 4? 2011 is Euro 3?

Think it's a different ecu with a different mapping.

But probably the same hardware for parts such as cylinder and head?

I think he means in terms of a complete motor swap.

in which case, yeah it'll all plug in.

Same plugs for new 2018 ecu to 2011 harness and lambda (2 vs 4 wire)?

if he's swapping the motor it's likely he's keeping the peripherals and just using the hard parts. ECU, exhaust/lambda stay with the patient, donor gets snapped in.

I think the break down is 08~13, 14~16, 17 & 18 with the HPE taking over in 19

if the lambda was an issue, then it's easily swapped and I believe the ECU plugs are the same. if there is a different map, I don't think it would differentiate enough to cause much of an issue.
