Planning on traveling down to Florida in august for my vacation (about 3 weeks) My plan is to ride down and leave the scooter in Florida and fly back to Montreal. Then pick it up a few months later and travel across the southern USA. I need a place to store the vespa for a few months.
I did this before when i traveled across Canada and left my motorcycle with a shop in Vancouver. I then rode down to California and left it there with a friend from a motorcycle forum.
Is there a reliable shop or if someone has extra space, or any other ideas?
Thank you in advance
Elliott.

Why not rent a storage space?

I am up in Jacksonville, barely Florida for you snowbirds, but I have garage space and will let you leave it in one.

No charge.

I left one of my Vespas in with a friend in Seattle for two years between Cannonballs.

And I kept a Vespa for a friend for three years while he lived in New Zealand.

If you get in a bind. I don't have a garage but you can put it under my carport. It has a roof and a plug for a battery tender. Mine stays dry under it. I'm in Zephyrhills outside Tampa.

You are a brave man to want to vacation for three weeks in Fl during August. Where exactly are going to? But if you want to go, have a good time, stay in the shade with a cool drink and jump in the pool often. Despite the roaring hot temps, I still miss it.

I don't know about "roaring hot temps", but the high summer humidity in South Florida is certainly something of a challenge.

Thank you !!!
Will look into the various options.
Great to have this forum and thank you for your kind offers. !!

I am traveling from Montreal to Florida and will take about 3 weeks to do the trip by vespa. At that point would like to leave it in Florida and fly back. I agree 3 weeks in Florida in the summer is kind of intense.

I was from the south east area. Temps would be 85 by March, high 80s by April, 90s by May. That would last thru around mid- October. It was nothing to have 120 days straight of 92 and above. Throw in 80% humidity average (100% after frequent thunderstorms) and it drains you. I worked construction and lost 10 to 25 pounds every summer. But the sailing, scuba diving, occasional surfing were great. And winter is really nice. Also, a real good place to ride scooters.

I misunderstood you. I thought you wanted to spend three weeks on sunny FL. I did not realize that was the time you would be travelling. Sounds like a great trip. Good luck!

Even on a 75 deg. morning, it can be hard to work on my scooter outside with all the sweat pouring off me.
Sorry I can't help. I had to buy a cargo van to have a shed for my favorite(of hopefully many more) scoot.

If I could find a reliable dealer around Fort Lauderdale or Miami, I could leave it there and do the service at the same time. (I will be due for belt and fluid change). I found one in Naples with a good rep but nothing so far in the Lauderdale area.

I bought my GTS from these guys and have had service work done by them. Give them a call...
