Modern Vespa

I'm looking for a replacement for Dashing. Any info from members with experience is appreciated.

Their's a sweet deal on a 2018 BV 350 in Miami for $3000. I need a light bike in my van because I'm getting older. The Honda gives me both good power and light weight. The BV won't work for DD and the DD bike won't spend time in the van.

If the Sportcity doesn't suit me, I'll be looking hard for a Kymco People 300 GTI. I'd settle for a 200. I'll probably find another sweet deal on an SH before the GTI.

I owned a Sportcity 300 for several years which I kept in the Fort Myers area for winter riding. It was a great scooter and very reliable. A nice combination of GTS engine, big wheels, and flat floorboard.

2 Cannonballs, daily rider teenage to early 20 rider for 2008 Sports City 250 which was still going strong at 78,000 miles when hurricane Harvey flooding killed it. During that time the only non wear and tear items replaces were the starter, tail light assembly (casualty of cannonball dirt roads breaking the tabs that held it in, still worked but rattling bugged me) and the exhaust broke at 70,000 miles just before the 2016 cannonball.

Same engine as the equivalent year Vespa GTS. My husband liked it so much that after he totaled his 2019 GTS he bought Old as Dirt's Sports City that is also a two time cannonball scoot though only half the miles of our old one.
