Hey I just got my new scooter today. An upgrade from my first scooter which was a Vespa sprint. It took me like 30 mins to finally connect my phone to my scooter and was hoping to test out the gps turn by turn nav function but after setting a route it the app I didn't see any turn by turn nav the whole short 10 min test ride that I did. I was able to connect my music to it and turn volume up/down skip forward and back. If anyone knows or has any tips on how I can activate & show the turn by turn nav on the screen it would be much appreciated. It was one of my big selling points in getting the scooter and I'm sad that I can't get it to work. Also my ambient temp gauge was not working upon delivery but I was so excited to get my scooter today that I let them try to fix it at my first service appointment and it'll be covered under warranty.

Congratulations, a real beauty!!
See this thread: Super Tech Matte Blue Energico GTS 300 You have to hold down the Joystick to the right until the nav screen comes up. It's not obvious, but it is discussed in the manual. You hold down the joystick to the right to toggle TO the map screen and FROM the map screen back to the normal data screen ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Just tried this this morning connected my phone started the navigation on the app & then held down the joystick to the right for over 5 seconds and nothing. Really hoping my scooter isn't a defective unit

RobaLatte wrote: It's not defective, make sure the map icon is in the bottom left corner of the screen on the Vespa. If it is not, then either, the map is not connected to Bluetooth properly or you do not have the navigation set to start by pressing go on your phone. |

It works fine on all 3 of mine, you just have to open the app and press that little blue talk bubble to make sure it's connected there. You can confirm the Bluetooth connection by going to vehicles and choosing your Vespa, there's a Bluetooth bubble that should be lit up when connected, otherwise your phone only works to show calls and messages on the display. I think your apps just not connecting to the Vespa properly. Once you get it connected everything should work just fine for you. Close the app then reopen it, then make sure you press the connection bubble and the app shows connected.

Very pretty! Yes it's only going to work on the phone that's tied to the navigation license unless you set it up on another phone and totally delete the configuration on the other.

I just have one phone but I have three supertechs, so when I want to tie a different Vespa to it, I have to delete the old profile under vehicles. You delete the profile that has that round Bluetooth indicator on it like the picture above. The only thing I could figure was that it was tied to the nav license.

the nav licence is not "tied to the phone". the bluetooth mac address* of the vespa is registered with piaggio's servers upon first setup and connect. each time you install or start the app this is verified with piaggio's servers.
it is possible to have the same bike setup on two phones and nav work with either (tried and tested) * every bluetooth device has a unique number called a mac address. |

I just picked up the Blue 2023 Supertech today have the same problem as the OP. Ambient Temp gauge not working on mine either at pickup they will fix. Also got the music to play but not the turn by turn. Got it to show up when sitting but not when driving yet. Started to rain will work on it more tomorrow. It's a awesome driving Scooter. Love how it handles the road and accelerates. I ordered the matching top box but was not available at pickup. So I am going back to dealer when it comes in anyway.

Ok so I've had my Supertech for 845km and the GPS has been perfect. Until today. NAV icon is on. Connect icon is on. But… when I toggle right the nav comes up then disappears. Then I can toggle right again & the nav comes up then disappears
Over and over on a 40km trip. Shut it off. Rebooted my phone. Kept doing it. Thoughts? |

I got mine to work. Here are the steps....
-Add address to the Nav -Sit on the bike turn it on -open the phone app go to your vehicle and make sure the Bluetooth icon is active if not click the blue circle with the 3 dots in the middle next to the -Bluetooth icon and it will connect -once it connects you will see map icon bottom left of the Vespa screen -then long push joystick to the right and NAV will pop up. I got the speakers to work in the helmet still trying to figure out how to get the Microphone to connect I am using a iPhone 13. Any help is appreciated. |
