Modern Vespa

Not putting our aging pup through a kennel experience this year - so no flight to Florida for the 1st time in 15 yrs.
Driving from Ohio with dog, to the Atlantic in Delaware.
Anyone have recommendations for sightseeing?
Booked a condo 3 miles from the coast, Rehoboth beach area.

Drive up to Lewes and take the ferry to Cape May. Check out the town, have lunch, and take the ferry back. It's a nice trip. No need to take your car, but you have to get from the ferry to downtown Cape May. Maybe a taxi or an Uber. Might even be a bus..or take your Vespa!

Last time I was out that way I watched the ponies swim across some water and bought a tatty Puch Maxi moped. Another time I watched a rocket launch. Not the rocket that exploded though, I missed that launch.

It's a nice place but its been awhile since I was out that way. There's a flea market south of the Maryland border that a friend has a store at. Wife and I would go and visit (the flea market has excellent Mexican food) but now the Bay Bridge tunnel charges full toll rate both directions, it used to be half price return within the same day.

I worked in the uniform industry for a bit and we LOVED doing trade shows in Atlantic City! I actually prefer Atlantic City over Vegas.

Sorry, but nothing is popping in my head. But have a safe trip and pet the doggy for me!

Rehobeth has plenty to do and great restaurants. Bethany Beach is lovely. Fenwick Island has the best beaches. Cape Henlopen State Park has great hiking and biking. Ocean City is cool with a great boardwalk. Assateague National Park has the ponies and you can kayak the bay there. Berlin, Maryland is a great town with fun antique shops. Lots of local breweries in the area too including Dogfish Head which does fun tours. I live 3 miles from the beach in Fenwick. We love it here!

Keep an eye out on the launch schedule for wallops Island. They have regular rocket launches there. It's only about an hour away I think.
