Hi everyone,

I'm trying to identify which part these connectors go to on my wiring harness. I've searched almost every wiring diagram of the scooters which my wiring harness supposedly fits (early 2010's GTS 125/300) but none of the wiring diagrams seems to be correct. Can I have some help to identify the connectors/wires here or point me to the right wiring diagram to look at?
This connector stems out from the connector that's connecting to the voltage regulator (the black-red side). The wire is white in color.

There doesn't seem to be a connector for this. Both wires are white-black and there are 2 sets of these, each set comes with the other wires that leads to each side of the handlebar.

also, I don't suppose you have the exact part number for the harness? I studied a lot of workshop manuals and wiring diagrams and am wondering if it's not a gts harness but rather something else. maybe gt200 or primavera or beverly or mp3. it's that 3rd connector that bugs me as I haven't seen that type of connector anywhere else.

PS, I ain't no expert just someone who reads wiring diagrams and workshop manuals and parts lists when looking at the differences between different models etc

Yes I do, it's 641669. I tried reading the wiring diagrams between different models as well (my only source is from wotmeworry) but none of the diagrams seem to match up with the connectors shown here.

Are there other newer wiring diagrams in existence?

Are you the original owner? If not, have you actually verified that you're running the original voltage regulator in there, or are you just assuming it's the original?

One of my GTS' has its' original v-reg, the other doesn't. Might want to give it a check if you're really not finding those on a wiring diagram anywhere.

No i'm not the original owner, but I don't quite understand whether the voltage regulator is original or not matters in this case.

I checked that there are only 2 voltage regulators that fits my GTS. The one that is currently fitted in the GTS right now is the older voltage regulator. It does not fit the connector in the new wiring harness, so i'm supposed to get the newer voltage regulator.

However, both newer and older voltage regulators don't have connectors that fit the connectors I have show in the pictures in my first post, hence my confusion.

I had a 2009 GTV - same as the GTS with a couple of minor differences. I remember when the 2010 GTS 300 came out. IIRC, the dealer told me the major difference was a larger bore in the engine but most other things were the same - I don't know details. I wonder if they used all the mechanics and wiring from the GTS 250 during the 2010 transition year which is likely different from the more modern 300. You might have a look at the wiring diagram on the wotmeworry site and see if the 250 wiring matches up with your 300. Just a guess of course.

Because someone could have put any voltage regulator in there, especially coming out of three years of COVID-induced supply chain shortages, so there's a chance that if the part isn't original, someone may have stuck a random voltage regulator in there, rather than one meant for your bike, and therefor you could have things not meant for your bike coming out of your voltage regulator, as you described.

When I replaced the voltage regular in my GTS250, I realized that the same regular could be used across a variety of not only Piaggio bikes, but that it was a Ducati part!

Hope that makes why I asked make sense to you now.
