Got a padded liner for the box today that fits perfectly. Of course this is to stop the rattling sounds of stuff in the box and to protect the items themselves. I'd previously experimented with home made solutions but was never satisfied.

Liner for the top is also available but didn't bother with it.

PS reminder if ordering, they list both a 150 and a 300 variant as there are different box sizes

Nice!
I see pet carrier liners too, for those that didn't get the carpeted version.

The carpet that came in my Supertech is nearly solid (hardly worth having) so have been tempted to also get a liner for that instead of the carpet

I've got the matching pet carrier liner, took awhile for it to relax. The folds from shipping were more like creases. After the scoot had been out in the sun with stuff in the pet carrier it finally relaxed enough I can put the Velcro it came with on if I choose.

A bit off-topic, but... I'm not familiar with the website in the link, but I've been seeing it a lot recently. What/who is aliexpress?

Sort of eBay/Amazon from China. It's legit but often the quality is reflected in the price. What a surprise.
Expect any electronics you buy there will burn down your house if left unattended.

As znomit said.

It's owned by AliBaba which is a massive wholesale / business-to-business site based in China but not exclusive to Chinese companies, eg Taiwanese* are common.

I just put a towel in the bottom of my top box. I got a very cheap guitar from AliExpress that was absolutely amazing for the price. But it doesn't always work out that way. Like eBay, check the sellers feedback and how long they have been there. Expect shipping to take a very long time.

I had been using some padding on the bottom but it was the stuff sliding backwards and forwards and hitting the sides that in particular was why I got this liner.

Things I've loved from AliExpress:
* wireless phone charger/mounting bracket (x3)
* stick-on clock/thermometer (x6 - gave them to friends)
* cold weather riding apron/skirt (x3 - also friendworthy)
* seat heating pad (x2 - friendworthy)
* summer riding gloves (quality has varied widely but generally good for the money)
* handlebar muffs of varying designs (x2)
* Vespa-branded gas cap, in anodized orange aluminum
* Custom-shaped bag to fit between the seat and the steering column
* H4 LED bulbs for the Buddy 50 (AC-compatible LEDs are hard to find)
* Bluetooth battery monitors
* stickers like those with Italian flag colors and "tracked by GPS" themes
* 12V USB plug-in car chargers (one came labeled as having been made in Azerbaijan; it's great)

Still awaiting use before evaluating:
* knee pads
* 7g variator sliders for my Buddy 50
* medium-priced brake levers
* valve adjusting wrenches (which I only bought for some kind of deal that saved more than the wrenches cost)

Not keen on:
* home charging devices (super chintzy)
* things that use integral rechargeable batteries
* mechanical thermometers (zero quality)
* saddlebags (material not nice, design will scratch the scooter)
* most tools (many are junk, generally the shipping takes too long, and plenty of people sell the same junk on Amazon with better/faster return policies that you might as well pay a little more for. Examples: flywheel pullers, variator holding tools, etc.)

I treat AliExpress like Harbor Freight. It's a great place to get stuff you want to try out or will use infrequently. If you use it a lot and wear it out or are disappointed with the quality, upgrade with something better. I've been surprised by how infrequently this has happened. The website is terrible, jamming silly coupons and meaningless point offers in your face throughout. The app also sucks, and if you use it on an iPad you have to use portait view. Dozens of sellers offer the exact same stuff with a range of prices and shipping costs that you have to sort through. But I've only not received one item I ordered, even through the pandemic, although sometimes delivery took more than a month.

And, in a similar vein, there's also Wish.com. I don't know the difference but for whatever reason I tend to use AliExpress.
