I have a 2019 Medley 155. Bought it from dealer new. Has now 29,800km on the clock. Had it serviced at 18,000km by dealer Jul 2021. They said the belt and roller etc. should be replaced every 20K. OK so just changed. I just put it in for service 11,000km later and they said the belt n roller need changing again. Unfortunately I just told them to go ahead without checking, so since remembered the 20k recommendation.... Anyway, having put my scooter in for service it had the following problems: ABS light on, ABS not working, Speedo not working. Needle cycles on start up but doesn't work when riding. Left rear LED running light dim. The dealer told me the ABS sensors front and rear need replacing. The charge for that is US$327.-. So, the total bill so far from the dealer for service and replacements (US$100.- for checking) is just over US$1,000.- @/@ wow. My car costs less than that. In fact my KTM 790 Adventure is cheap to service too. Last dealer service was US$750.- including belt and roller change.... This is proving to be a very expensive scooter indeed!
Most probably not the sensors themselves. Sounds more like the tone wheel on the rear was damaged (eg bent) while the rear wheel was removed or reinstalled. If only slightly bent then can just be bent back in to shape (had to do this myself once).
