Hi all

I have fitted a px engine to my motovespa 150s and wish to keep the electric start as my knees are goosed. I tend to leave the battery on a trickle charger as the regulator I have is the wrong one but would like to fit the correct one that will provide the correct dc output to charge the battery. The one I have overcharges and cooks the battery. Appreciate Amy help with the correct one to order.

Thanks Matt

It's the latest stator the restricted one I think its a 2016 engine not sure of the regulator as away from home at the moment.

If it's the restricted stator, it has the "usual" blue-black output. The correct regulator for this engine is the following.

G - AC in from stator (blue), G - AC out (regulated), B(+) to battery (+), C - 12V DC in from battery when main switch in ON position, last one is ground to chassis. Try to find a Ducati one, everything else is crap...
