Hey all,

i have fitted a 53/4" led head light in to my PX200 now what i want to do is wire it battery direct. i tried to do it with two relays and off the switch and power from the battery with no luck, has some one done this or has a wiring diagram of this?

You can do it, hopefully someone will chime in, I'm on my way to work. Why two relays? Why not a single relay connected to battery power, then run that to headlight switch, keeping switch for high low beam?

I don't have this scooter to go check this myself, see if this gives you any ideas.

Looking at this digram, there is a purple and brown wire going to headlight for high and low beam power. Black at headlight looks to be a common ground wire for high and low beam.

The purple and brown wires go back to hi /lo beam switch in right handlebar. There is a black wire in that diagram that looks like it maybe the common wire for high and low beam lighting. My point being somewhere in that switch a wire is common to both high and low beam. Only one wire is running from rear of scooter to front. That is the wire I would be looking for, disconnect it from switch connect 12 volts DC and headlight should work. This would require a single relay.

Looks like there is a grey wire going from regulator to headlight that powers a few more lights along with headlight such as rear running light. You could try disconnecting grey wire from regulator and see if headlight is off. If it is try connecting 12vdc to the grey wire, looks like it will power headlight etc.

I wonder if it's regulated AC? I don't have one to check so I don't know.
