Invented by Siemens in Germany in 1882. I know these things especially in countries of the former Sovjet union (also in East Germany). In the USA, I have already driven Seattle with it...

These were in use in Wellington until 2017, when them and their unsightly cables were removed.

I was being a bit flippant with this post as it's use is so limited meaning it doesn't solve the issue of range anxiety

Hydrogen is the future. Electric just won't cut it IMO.

Hydrogen can be used to replace natural gas (for home boilers/furnaces). It can also be used to power electric vehicles (think Toyota Mirai). It can also be used to power combustion engines (already in development and preferred as an alternative to diesel in heavy machinery).

Either that, or synthetic dinosaur juice. Another good option.

Regardless of what prevails, the whole 'switch' to alternative energy sources to power vehicles will cost a lot of time, natural resource, and if we're not careful it'll produce produce a lot of waste. 🤞

I doubt there are any physical structures which will solve "range anxiety". I have owned an EV for nearly 10 years. Anxiety is a state of mind.
