My guess is the jets main one try a 102 ! And make sure you are using the resistor type plugs l have a 2015 PX 125 but stay standard set up just the cat part removed with a granini manifold down pipe to the original box exhaust and just opened up the air filter 5 8 mills over the jets with a 98 main jet and it stopped All that bogging !! On the get go ! Good luck with everything just keep it simple and standard best foot forward soulboy74 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

It can be CDI or stator problem also.

Just wondering how you are getting on with the vespa !! Normal black plugs ! Is a sign of the engine running Rich !! You need to be more careful with our 2011+ vespa technical difference you should be alright with only a sip 2 upgrade but Hay mate you do need to sort out the right jets!! 100 main jet should do the job ! But you must check that all the other one's in the stake are correct and standard set !! If All alse fails go standard set up !! Most reliable way best foot forward soulboy74 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👍

What main jet is in the carb? Pull it and read the three different numbers stamped on it.

A 2016 PX should not be experiencing stator or CDI issues IMO, they are good for at least 15 years of regular running.

oi oi, First thing I would check is the fuel flow. Just to rule it out.
Take the pipe off the carb. Point it into some container at carb height and turn the tap on. If this is an issue, there will be just a small drizzle. If any good it will be at least a pint a minute.

make sure that your fuel line isn't too long.

Time to do a pressure test. Blown seal does what you described.
