So I just rode home from my local shop on my "new" (2007) GTS250. When I went to reset the clock, I could change the hours, but I'm not able to toggle to the minutes adjust mode, and the minutes reads :99, and does not change.

I understand from reading previous posts that the GTS does not have a separate battery for the clock, so it does not seem as if this is an indication of a dying clock battery, as I initially theorized.

I am now unable to exit the clock set mode, no matter what button or combination of buttons I press.

Has anyone here seen this, or have any ideas about how I might restore the clock function and return to "normality"?

Thanks,

Bob

Does the instrument panel/clock have a fuse?

Barring that, maybe disconnect the positive battery cable for a 10 count and reconnect it to see if that reboots the system.

Good luck.

Fuses are all good, I wasn't clear on which is dedicated to the panel/clock.

Escalated to "unplug it and plug it back in", which worked. I was then able to reset the clock and exit the adjust mode.

Thanks for the suggestion, this is why I love this place.
