Is that all Fabbri clutches? I have the FB36 (still not on the road).

Yeah all fabbri styled clutches… basically anything with more than 3 cork plates.

Has problems separating if there isn't enough oil.

500ml means it goes past the oil level goes past the bottom of the clutch cover.

Also discovered that if you ride fast, for a prolonged period of time (more than 2km) that the gearbox gets really noisy. I checked that I only put 400ml first time around. Noise goes away with 500ml.

Something tells me the oil gets flung around so much so fast there's not much left coating the gears and cogs.

Thanks for that, was definitely not aware! No issue with it coming out of the breather then? I recall reading on the GSF (in regard to largeframes) that you could extend the breather with a longer hose... this would allow you to run twice as much gear oil without pumping it out.

I definitely think it's a better situation on the smallframe because the breather isn't on the clutch cover (directly shooting the oil out) and has a section blocking it from the clutch.

On my PX, I cut the acorn breather and attached a hose until I discovered the EGIG breather which solved all the problems. I think there's other German/Italian brands that make similar.

I've installed on on my smallframe, so no dribble down the cases.

I actually couldn't recall where it is on the SF

On my LF I think I adapted an M7 cable adjustment thingy with a hose nipple. Seems to work.

Anyway appreciate the tip, I never would have got that one otherwise!

I'm running my FB45 with 400ML of oil and it's working great. No issues with oil coming out the breather for me, either.

Finally, this guy is back…
Installed the double O ring gear selector. Just to note, gasket isn't getting attached to this side, just making sure it fits with no problems.
