Hi, I have a vespa lx50 2 stroke, when my mechanic did a service on it last year he told me to make sure it had a number 9 spark plug in it because the cylinder would get too hot and wear out.
I recently had trouble with it bogging down at full throttle after replacing the air filter to a malossi double red sponge (even though you don't need to change gets for that one according to them, also has a silent pro exhaust and is derestricted), he upjetted from a 52 to a 63 and it runs great now.
I check the plug and it is a number 8 now.
Is this ok or should I change for a 9?
Thanks
