Reset Light for normal GTS models, non-super tech: #1 Turn on ignition #2 Briefly press mode button to the right until battery charge level appears #3 Press and hold mode button to the right for at least 10 seconds but less than 15 seconds # 4 let go and the service icon (wrench) turns off |

This is what I did to reset the service light (remove the wrench icon) on my 2023 GTS 300 Super HPE. On my display, the battery voltage reading is on the left side and these are the steps I took:
1 Turn the switch to the "on" position. 2 Using the joystick, cycle through the options (av. miles per gallon and miles per gallon) until you get to the battery voltage reading. 3 Now, press the joystick "in" and hold it in for at least 10 seconds and then release the joystick. The wrench icon should be gone. I may have held the joystick in longer than ten seconds but this worked for me. The wrench icon on my bike was solidly lit after doing the 625 mile service and I restarted the scooter twice to confirm that the wrench icon was gone from the screen. |

I'll take video and put it up on the ol' facetube or whatever the kids call it these days. Just waiting for the oil to arrive...have all the other bits. |

I need to pop to Home Depot and get a new strap wrench (can't find my previous one but I also know it's probably too big for the intended application) which I'll do later tonight, but everything went really well for the break-in service. Gear oil was SUPER clean, engine oil was darkish but nothing shocking/surprising. A few metallic bits in the screen, but that's to be expected upon break-in.
Importantly, I actually remembered to snag a (really poorly made) video of reset. As expected, just tap left on the joystick until you see the battery voltage, then push inward and hold for 10+ seconds. It even tells you that it was "resetted" (that's the second thing I've found that indicates it's truly Italian-designed, along with the need to turn the ignition switch to 'off' when refueling or it takes ages to get the lines back up to the top) |
