I recently heard a squeaking noise from the left brake lever on my LX50, I took the left lever off and greased the cable and spring.
Upon reinstalling, the screw would not thread through the bottom of the bracket.
I then removed the spring and it worked perfectly and I could even put the but on but I can't get it theeading with the spring installed.
Please help

Thanks

it's kind of finicky, but you have to push the lever in against the spring while attempting to thread the pivot bolt in.

there's no real "procedure", just lots of finagling. keep trying you'll get it!
