Hi All

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Matt and I live in Cheshire and I have joined the group because yesterday I picked up a Piaggio Medley 125 2016 that I won on a salvage auction. It's a cat n write off. Someone has tried stealing it and failed.

I started the initial assessment yesterday. They've smashed the front shield and side plastics. Butchered the wiring underneath. Nicked the battery and battery tray. Broke half the steering lock and the key won't turn off lock. So lots to do to resurrect it. Apart from that it looks in pretty good nick

Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for this bike so I can start repairing the wiring and get it started? Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

Hi and welcome. Go to the Electrical section. Jeez they really cram it in there. Don't think that I'll be tackling any major work on mine.

My 2010 GTS300 was stolen and recovered several months later. Though not as badly smashed up as yours, they did rip into the wiring trying to get it started. I was lucky in that they did not know what the imobilizer was and I found it in the battery 'tray'.
They 'nicked' everything they could but I was able to use a wiring diagram and this forum to get it back together. Then I sold it to a friend and picked up my current HPE.
