Examples please.
Are you talking about "verbalization" of company names (Google -> googled)? He/she/it is/was Vespa-ed. I'm Vespa-ing to shopping. ⚠️ Last edited by GermanGTSDriver on UTC; edited 1 time

Poking around the interwebs a little, it looks like "vespaing" comes up fairly often without too much explanation--plus one for some attestation. It looks weird to my eyes (wanting to be pronounced "ves paing"), but less weird than having a hyphen, even if that makes the intention more clear. I'd vote for "vesping", but there seems to be little attestation and it does sound unfortunately like "vaping" to my ear.

In Dutch writing it would be "vespaïng". The double point above the i meaning a new syllable starts at that point to make clear it is not "ves-paing" but "ves-pa-ing".
This "trema" (it seems you call that a "diaeresis", what a word is that) is common in dutch writing but I do not know it is used in english writing, I guess not. |

if I needed a verb for riding (specifically) a Vespa, I would probably look at the noun vape from which they drop the vowel to turn it into the verb vaping..
so Vesping |
